From Le Suquet to the Lérins islands

Cannes cooking draws on an exceptional hinterland: early vegetables and herbs from around Grasse, olive oil, citrus and fish from the bay. The Forville market, at the foot of Le Suquet, is one of the finest on the coast and offers everything needed to compose menus according to what has just come in. From May to September, evenings are spent outdoors, facing the Esterel hills; in winter, the mild climate still allows for lovely sunny lunches. Charlotte travels to Cannes and the neighbouring towns, from Le Cannet to Mougins.
